Local Classes and Workshops
Beginning in October, I’ll be running 6-week long workshops for memoir and fiction writers. There will be 4 in each workshop. We will meet for 2 hours a week for 6 weeks. Bringing in up to 10 double-spaced pages of new writing per week, students will:
Hear opinions on strengths and places the work grabs the reader
Learn craft techniques
Learn how to critique other’s writing
Receive recommendations on novels/memoirs, stories, and craft books to read
Have accountability to get writing done
Be surrounded by writers who support you and your creativity

I work with beginning and intermediate writers of essays and fiction. Using email, phone calls, and/or Skype, clients are coached through goal-setting, plot, voice, techniques, and information on publishing and the use of social media. Use the contact form and let me know a bit about yourself and your writing goals.
If you’d like a structured program that allows you to work from home with professional mentors, check into MTSU Write. I highly recommend it.
